If you’ve noticed there’s been a gap in posts lately, it’s because I went five days with exactly 20 minutes of internet access time while at eco-hotels in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. That’s not a bad thing to do now and then and it’s a refreshing experience. I’m still there though and now need to catch up on urgent queries like, oh, “Why haven’t you replied to my e-mail from yesterday?!?!”

But here’s a look at what I’ve been looking at instead in the jungles of Costa Rica. This is from just four days of walking in the woods now and then. All were seen from a safe distance except the scorpion hanging out on my mosquito net. Oh, and the tarantula in my shower…
